Neugebauer Unhappy About House Adjournment

Congressman Randy Neugebauer is criticizing the House leadership, for adjourning until after the November election, without taking an up or down vote on extending the Bush tax cuts.

In a news release, Neugebauer wrote, “It is unconscionable for the Democratic leadership to place their job preservation ahead of helping job creation, which is exactly what they are doing by heading home to their districts to begin campaigning.”

Neugebauer also said that the Democrats are making matters worse by failing to pass a budget for the 2011 Fiscal Year, opting instead for a continuing resolution.  Neugebauer said the Democrats are creating even more economic uncertainty for American families and businesses.
