Former Terry County Correctional Officer Arrested on Charges of Sex with an Inmate and Possession of Prohibited Items

A former Terry County correctional officer found himself on the other side of the bars.

59-year-old Larry Labadie was arrested today, after being indicted on charges of improper sexual relationship with an inmate, possession of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility, and possession of a prohibited item, a cell phone, in a correctional facility.

Labadie resigned his post at the Terry County Jail last June, following an investigation by the Texas Rangers after a female prisoner was found in possession of cigarettes. He’s been released from the jail on $3,000 bond.
