Voter registration deadline is Monday

Texas Secretary of State Hope Andrade reminds Texans that the deadline is Monday to register for the Nov. 2 general election. It is a relatively easy process. The voter registration application only has nine questions, including one asking for your name. A person must provide a Texas Driver’s License number or Texas Personal I.D. number issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety—or provide the last four digits of their Social Security Number.  Voter registration applications are available online at the Secretary of State’s website, www.VOTEXAS.org, or at county elections offices, and many post offices and libraries.
