Midland College gets 600,000 dollars for Hispanic community work

Midland College has been awarded 600,000 dollars for its role in helping meet Hispanic needs. The funding was announced this week as part of the federal Hispanic-Service Institutions Assisting Communities Program of the Housing and Urban Development department. The program aims revitalize local neighborhoods, promote affordable housing and stimulate economic development in Hispanic communities.
