West Nile claims Lubbock, Crosby County victims

West Nile Virus is blamed for the deaths of a Lubbock County woman in her 90s and a 71-year-old Crosby County man, according to Texas health officials. The elderly woman’s name has not yet been reported. The Crosby County victim was identified as Larry Yowell. Only one other death related to West Nile virus has been reported so far this year in Texas, that one in Waller County near Houston.
