Neugebauer Predicts One-Year Extension Of Bush Tax Cuts

“I think in the end, the Democrats blink.”

That was the response from Congressman Randy Neugebauer on Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, when he was asked to predict whether the Bush tax cuts would be extended.

“I think the question is do they just do a one-year extension of the cuts and move on, or do they do a multi-year [extension],” Neugebauer said.  “I still can’t determine the timing.  I probably would give it 50-50 that we would do it before the election, and it’s probably a one year extension.”
