Two Withdraw from High Plains Water District Election

Two candidates have withdrawn from the High Plains Water District Election for District Director.

Dewayne Hovey of Lubbock withdrew from the Precinct One Director , and Lamb County Judge William A. Thompson Jr. withdrew as a candidate for the Precinct Two District Director.

The date to withdraw has now passed.

The remaining candidates for Precinct One are Lloyd Arther of Ralls, and Chester Carthel, Jeanette Nathan, James Powell, and George Sell, all of Lubbock.

The remaining Precinct Two Candidates are Jim Copeland of Anton and Dennis Brown of Morton. The election will be November 2^nd.
