Tech soccer: History made with four opening-season shutouts

Texas Tech’s soccer team made school history last night in beating Rice 2 to nothing at Houston. The victory marked the first time in the Tech soccer program history for a team to start the season with four-consecutive shutouts. The four shutouts surpass the total number of shutouts—three—recorded in 2009, which was the most successful season in a decade.
