Remodeled Caprock winery looks to new marketing effort

The Caprock winery, which has gone through a couple of bankruptcy proceedings, is holding a wine-tasting event at its remodeled plant this weekend. On Saturday from 12pm-6pm, the winery will be hosting its annual Harvest Festival. The winery is still in business because in the first week this month Kathy Bodenstedt of San Antonio bought it for 2.5 million dollars. More money is being spent updating bathrooms, furniture, and floors. General Manager Phillip Anderson says the new owner hopes to put more effort into marketing and selling the wines in local stores
