Lubbock workers are honored for service to aged and disabled Texans

Two Lubbock residents and a fraternity are among volunteers who will be recognized today for their efforts in behalf of aging or disabled Texans. The honors are being given in Austin by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services known as DADS. Being cited for 20 years of service at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center are Mary Flores and Chris Lonngren.  Phi Kappa Phi Fraternity is being honored as a group for staging an overnight activity for residents of the Lubbock State Supported Living Center.
