Driver indicted over collision with Lubbock County deputy

A Lubbock County grand jury has indicted a 47-year-old driver on assault charges brought after he collided with a Lubbock County sheriff’s deputy in May. Police said Antonio Aleman had been drinking when he ran head-on into the vehicle of Corporal Scott Duncan on FM 1585. Duncan was hospitalized for several days after the accident. Aleman remains in the Lubbock County Jail in lieu of a 50,000 dollars bail.
