Plainview residents still suffer loss of water service

A lack of water continues as a headache this week for dozens of residents of a mobile home park at Plainview. The city has cut off water service indefinitely because some utility bills have not been paid in months.  The manager of the Rio Concho Mobile Home Park at 4201 Dimmitt Road in Plainview blames eight residents for failing to pay their bills. But residents who have paid their bills say it isn’t fair that they’ve lost service. They are being forced this week to buy bottled water or store water in coolers. KAMC-28 says the owner lives in California and could not be reached for comment.
