USPS will evacuate its downtown mail center for a hazard drill

A biohazard test will be conducted late this afternoon at the U.S. Postal Service’s downtown mail processing center at 1515 Crickets Avenue. The drill will involve an evacuation of the center at 4 p.m. with area fire crews and first responders participating. USPS says the drill to test its biohazard detection system will last about an hour and is not expected to affect customers.
