Commissioners Revise Strategic Plan

The Lubbock County Commissioners Court held a relatively brief meeting today (Monday)…about 20 minutes.  The commissioners approved a strategic plan for the county that includes some changes from the previous plan.

“Just added a few more objectives to it,” said Commissioner Patti Jones, as she explained some of the changes.

“We’re still trying to put as much online as possible.  We’re not where we want to be.  Homeland security – just more internal information for the employees that are here in case of an emergency.

The commissioners also approved a $45,000 loan agreement with the Woodrow Volunteer Fire Department for equipment for a truck.
