Two Lubbock residences hit in separate home invasions

Lubbock police are seeking robbers who invaded two homes in one overnight period this week. On Tuesday around 11:30 p.m. two men pushed their way into an apartment in the 1600 block of 59th Street, kept victims on the floor at gunpoint and fled with cash, a TV and a laptop computer. The two were described as black, about 5 feet four and weighing about 120 pounds. One was about 17 years old with a pistol. Around 5:30 a.m. yesterday a second home invasion occurred in the 500 block of North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard involving four suspects described as Hispanic. One was armed with a black handgun. They dropped a TV fleeing the scene.  Anyone with information about either of the incidents is urged to call Crime Line at 741-1000.
